KAN KIU SIN TOBE
KAN was born and is based in Hong Kong. She obtained her Bachelor (Fine Art) degree co-presented by RMIT University and Hong Kong Art School in 2017. In recent years, she embraces the observation of the multitude of vegetation that coexist naturally with human beings while she strolls. Her current practice investigates the boundaries between life and death, examines the condition of insecurity in relation to feelings of alienation and obliteration, to existence and distance, and intends to reveal the uncanny and mysterious feelings of hovering between asleep and awake, dream and reality. She experiments with painting, drawing and installation. She has been exhibiting her works in Hong Kong and the USA. Her artworks are held in the University of Cambridge (Robinson College) and numerous private collections. |
